Business Men
New Cafe Serves Three Hundred
Guests on Friday Night
The new Oxford Cafe held its formal opening on
Friday night and served an excellent lunch, free to all
comers. About three hundred people took advantage of the
generous invitation and between the hours of 7:30 and
10:30 the Lyman brothers were kept busy. The new
restaurant is handsome and well appointed. Six dainty
tables will accommodate twenty-four guests while the
lunch counter has seats for fourteen. The room has been
handsomely decorated land looks very pretty and
attractive.
This is by far the most ambitious attempt that
has yet been made to give Denison a city restaurant. The
proprietors are experienced men at the business and are
well liked by all.
There can be no doubt but that they will succeed.
