that you may have such as marriage announcements,
news articles, old obituaries, births, (you do not
need the birth certificate) just the information,
and biographies. If you have any of these

Hancock county
was established as a result of an election on June
28, 1858. At the time two townships, Avery and
Madison, were also established. Soon after a
courthouse was built in Garner, Iowa that
continues to be the county seat.
