Frank Roethler, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Roethler of near Elma, it reported among those "missing" in France. Friends of the family sincerely hope that he may soon be located and that he will be found to be well. It frequently happens that soldiers reported missing later turn up O. K. They sometimes get lost and later turn up with some other company. Elma New Era November 15, 1918
